Kaluga Turbine Works (KTZ) will manufacture and deliver a steam turbine unit with auxiliary equipment for the Almetyevsk petrochemical complex of PJSC Tatneft (Republic of Tatarstan).

A 16 MW condensing steam turbine of the P-16-4.3/1.8 type with industrial steam extraction will provide heat and electric power to a maleic anhydride production complex (maleic anhydride, or MAH is used to obtain binders in the manufacture of fiberglass).

Engineers of the special design office of KTZ have started to develop design documentation. According to the contract terms, the power equipment will be supplied to the partner in 2021.

- KTZ will also supply the customer with auxiliary equipment: a condenser, ejectors, an oil supply system, in-turbine pipelines with fittings. We managed to pass the qualification of a foreign licensor and win a difficult tender, - said Ivan Romanov, Sales Director for Civilian Products of KTZ. Once again, this confirms the high competitiveness of the Kaluga Turbine Works products, the highest qualifications of employees and the compliance of production with up-to-date world standards.

More than 10 turbine manufacturing companies from all over the world took part in the tender for the supply of equipment.
